Earning Points Back:
If a student receives a failing grade on a Writing Assignment (< 60%), they can work to acquire half of their grade back (e.g. if a student receives a grade of 50%, they could obtain an additional 25% to their grade). Students will have ONE (1) week after papers are returned to address and incorporate changes outlined by the instructor and/or teaching assistant. Students must retain the comments made by the instructor on the resubmitted paper and also highlight changes made in the body of the paper. If there are any questions regarding the requirements to earn points back on a Writing Assignment please consult with the instructor as soon as possible.
